Re: Playback problem using with Casio Keyboard drum effects
Well that clearly shows that the low frequency wave is coming through the lead from the output socket, but I notice that it is slightly different from the last time - the frequency has gone down from about 5 Hz to about 2 Hz, and it appears to be picking up something of the pulses from the click tra...

Re: clock tiles for sync-lock visually confusing
The background appears to be set in ThemeAsCeeCode.h but this is an auto-generated by Theme.cpp and I've no idea how it's generated as there does not appear to be a related image in the 'images' folder. The 'sync-lock' button also looks very amateurish, but when I asked on the developers mailing lis...

Re: How I can upload an attachment ?
I'm not sure that adding video formats is such a good idea as video attachments are rarely needed I don't particularly want to see an influx of video spam some video formats (such as wmv and mov) are capable of containing web links and viruses the file extensions relate to the container format and n...

The plug-in will work on all platforms (Windows/Mac/Linux). The downloaded file is a ".ZIP" file, which is an "archive" file. If you double click on the ZIP file it will open and show you the "tonecontrol.ny" file. You need to copy this "tonecontrol.ny" and pu...

Re: newbie questions - creating a CD
Although you can get well over 70 minutes on a CD (but less than 80 minutes), the failure rate of CDs increases greatly as the data gets close to the edge of the CD (CD data starts at the centre of the disk then works its way out toward the edge). I usually limit the length of CDs to between 1 hour ...

Re: Small Window Named Invisible
Upgrading to 1.3.12 is highly recommended. The old 1.2.x series are now very old, known to have bugs and unmaintained (so the bugs will not be fixed).

Re: Recording freezes
By default Audacity writes the audio data when you are recording as 32 bit uncompressed PCM. This is written (by default) as 1MB blocks to a temporary file on the C: drive. For a stereo track this produces about 20 blocks per minute of audio, so a 20 minute stereo recording will use about 400 MB of ...

Re: noise
I was just posting this when I saw the reply from Koz, but I was about to say the same thing - it sounds like the USB is loosing its connection.
(it gets a brief mention on this page in the Audacity wiki: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/USB_turntables )
