Audacity does not currently have MIDI support - it's being developed in the experimental branch but it's not done yet.
You may want to look at Reaper, Sonar, Cubase. There are many others, but these are the big names. Reaper has a particularly good trial version and very fair pricing.

It's called "DC offset" and it's usually caused by a faulty sound card. In this case it may be that your sound card can't cope with such a high sample rate. Try setting the "Quality" setting in Audacity Preferences to 44100 Hz, or 48000 Hz. If you are using Vista or Win 7 you sho...
