Re: Help

It depends on what sockets are on the synth and on the computer sound card. Basically you need an audio cable (if the synth is stereo then you will want a stereo audio cable) that has appropriate plugs to connect one end to the audio output of the synth, and the other end to connect to the Line inpu...

Re: Question about Behringer UCA-202 audio interface

That problem actually occurs if I flip the "MONITOR" switch on. If I pot up the slider for the channel on my mixer that is recording the audio coming out of my computer, the horrendous feedback occurs at around -30dB. That sounds like a quite different problem - it sounds like you have in...

Sorry, I've no idea why that is happening - keep checking back, I'll ask a colleague if they have any ideas.

If the power supply is the cause, then more expensive sound cards are also likely to suffer from the same prob...

Re: Problem with recording

When tracks are played/mixed together, the sounds are effectively "added" to each other. This can cause the overall volume level to exceed 0 dB and distort. To avoid this, keep an eye on the green playback meters and if necessary reduce the level of the tracks using the volume sliders on t...

Re: recording problem with 2 channels

Check in "Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O" and set the number of channels to "2 (stereo)".

If that is not the problem, please provide more information about your system.
