Re: Unicode issue with Nyquist
I've moved this to it's own thread as I presume that this is a potential issue for all Nyquist effects and not specific to the Nyquist Prompt / Nyquist Generate Prompt. Would this be classed as a "bug"? I'm not sure that the Audacity developers would class it as an "Audacity bug"...

Re: DIY homemade recording studio
The rock wool used in that construction isn't flammable but it reminds me of asbestos. It's certainly not nice stuff to work with, and precautions should be taken when handling, (in accordance with the Material Safety Sheet, which should be supplied with the material). The same advice applies to so...

Re: Nyquist Wish List - Nyquist Prompt Enhancement
A couple more refinements to the Nyquist Generate Prompt. The "category" information has been added to the plug-in header. The plug-in now outputs the text that has been input at the top of the debug window. (this can be very helpful for spotting typing errors in the user code). Also incre...

Re: sound level settings
Voice 123 recommends "normalizing the volume to -3db and uploading files encoded with the following attributes: 44.1 KHZ, 16 bit mono, 96 KBs." Could you check what it says about the "attributes" Does it say "MP3"? Does it say "96 kbps"? "Normalize to -3...

Re: cant get right "lame "ver. for audacity
Later in the topic that I directed you to there is a second method - this method usually works when other methods fail. To save messing around with links, I'll copy the relevant parts here: ---------------------------------------- Download the ZIP file from this page http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/ and e...

Re: Buzzing and audio distortion after recording with mic

Check that your recording level is not too high - the blue wiggly waveform should not touch the top or bottom of the audio track (about half the height of the track is a good reco...
