Re: few basic problems

(allpass2 s (+ f (lfo fl))) I think that's probably the wrong sort of filter to use for a wah effect as it passes all frequencies equally. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All-pass_filter Also, the "hz" parameter must be a FLONUM (floating point number) and not a sound, so you can't use an os...

Re: Windows 7

Do you mean this: http://manual.audacityteam.org/images/0/05/Mixer_toolbar_simple_basic7.png That refers to the main volume control of your sound card mixer. Some sound cards on some machines allow access to their controls by other programs (such as Audacity). For other sound cards or computers acce...

Re: cbp code::blocks project file for audacity

As far as I'm aware there isn't a cbp file. I don't think that any of the developers use code::blocks

Re: reconciling different sample rates

Use Audacity 1.3.12. The old 1.2.6 version cannot handle multiple sample rates in the same track and has some other quirks regarding mixed sample rates that I don't remember off hand. If you want your final exported project to be at 44100 or 48000 Hz sample rate, import one of the files and check in...

Re: Stereo recording windows 7

Go into the Windows Control Panel and check that the recording device that you are using is set to stereo (Windows 7 often defaults to mono).

Re: Help splitting several voices from a sound.

Frequency Splitting can be done with the Equalizer tool. Possibly easier to do using the High-pass filter and Low-pass filter. Make a duplicate copy of a track (select the track then press Ctrl+D) Apply a high-pass filter to one copy and a low-pass filter to the other. For a sharp cross-over, use a...

Re: Audacity interface naming question.

Much too radical at the moment. The entire interface would have to be re-done. Hmmm - yes  But this is fantasy at the moment. Simply rounding the corners of the drop-down menu, mute, solo and collapse buttons (without the shading) would help them stand out as buttons IMO. Yes, I thin...
