Re: Project Rate
Did you say what you want to do with these files? Do you want to edit them, or just play them? If you only want to play them, you can do that in Sox without using Audacity. If you want to edit them in Audacity you will need to convert them to a format that Audacity understands - but what format do y...

Re: Traktor not in sync after Audacity recordings
I think this is more of a Traktor issue than an Audacity issue.
Perhaps this topic will help: http://www.traktor-dj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=102119
If not, I'd suggest asking on that forum as they are likely to know much more about Traktor.

Re: USB Audio Question thats been bugging me for ages !
The Alesis 520 usb monitors are designed to be used without a sub. Although it may be nice to hear that real-low-down bass, when mixing it can be almost as much a disadvantage as an advantage. When mixing tracks for a CD, the "target audience" for the finished "product" will prob...

Re: recording problem emu 0202 usb on Vista
Audacity should list all the sound card inputs that are enabled by your operating system. On Vista, to enable sound cards, or particular inputs, you need to go to the Windows Control Panel. Note that Vista hides any sound cards that it has disabled, so you need to "show disabled devices". ...

Re: How do I get a track from project into another
To Export as 32 bit you need to select "other uncompressed files" as the format, then select 32 bit WAV in "Options". However, (now I know what you are wanting to do) I agree that in this case, copying directly from one project to another is probably the easier method. When you c...

cut or copy and paste from the 44100 into the 48000 Hz. Ah ha! That's the bit I was missing. I can reproduce the bug on Linux and XP. I often paste audio clips of different sample rates, but I always deal with them as discrete clips. The bug only appears if audio is pasted into existing audio that ...

Re: Playback without Windows Media Player?
Audacity can record, edit, and process in many ways, one or more audio tracks. Audacity works with audio in a special format called "Audacity Projects" which will not play back in any other program. These can be played back in Audacity, or Exported as standard audio files which can then be...
