Re: How do I play sound and record at the same time?
There are a number of ways to accomplish this, but probably the easiest is to do it the same way as if making a podcast with voice and music. See here: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Creat ... h_Audacity

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Drastically lowering the speed has cut the high frequencies and with them high frequency distortion The reason for the "change speed" suggestion is not as a "solution" to the problem. A 19% change in the speed makes little difference to the frequency range, but what it does do i...

Re: Left and Right Channels go out of sync after Export
I think you nailed it with the silence Lame enters as it exports as it is fine when I save it as a Wav file. Not totally sure how to get around it when the time comes for me to export as an MP3 file again, other then handling that with a different program. If it's all working fine when you export a...

Re: Behrenger UCA202 - microphone only record option
Hopefully someone can clarify on the summary review page what the situation is with volume control on the different OS'es and if Behringer drivers allow volume control. I've added/clarified comments on Sound Card Reviews concerning lack of input control on the UCA/UFO 202. That's becoming rather a ...

Re: Software Playthrough : Troubleshooting
Software Playthrough is slow compared to hardware routing, so there will always be a delay and you can't do anything about that.
Why do you need to use software playthrough?

Re: Notch Filter
Here's a "legacy" compatible version. The only change to the code is that (notch2 s freq q) has been changed to (multichan-expand #'notch2 s freq q) I've also added a comment: ;; (multichan-expand) provides legacy support for old versions of Audacity ;; in which the (notch2) function only ...
