Using the "#" symbol in a file name is a bad idea.
Audacity 1.3.12 should be able to cope with most characters (though the operating system will object to certain characters). It's generally advisable to stick to letters, numbers, hyphen, space and underscore in file names.

Volume and Reverb.
Lower volume for greater distance, more reverb for greater distance.

If you have GVerb installed I can suggest some settings.
