Re: Force EQ

That sounds perfectly doable. I expect it would work best (and not so slow) with a small FFT size in "Plot Spectrum", possibly even averaging values to create a smoother curve. You would probably not want to try to reproduce occasional spikes that may be in the spectrum, but rather reprodu...

Re: Recording Voice by a Beginner

I usually buy my cables in bulk, but for a one off cable you might be best going to a music shop. Do you have any local shops that sell keyboards and electronic music gear? If you speak nicely to them they may even be able to test your old cable for you.

Re: Sample Printer

Revised interface. The only thing that works is the help menu.
Does this cover all of the options that we want?
The help menu should make clear what each of the options is supposed to do.

Re: Recording Voice by a Beginner

In that case I suspect the problem may be your audio lead. Audio leads for low level signals need to be made with "shielded" cable. I suspect that either the lead is not shielded, or there is a bad or broken earth connection in the lead. Are you able to test the lead or do you know anyone ...

Re: Loop question

In Audacity you would "loop" a sample multiple times using the "Repeat" effect. However I suspect that you are wanting Audacity to provide cue points that are compatible with some other program - am I right?

But you don't need to turn the levels down really really low to stop it distorting?

Re: Recording Voice by a Beginner

Did you have any problem getting the signal level to a reasonable level in Audacity?
I thought the "tape out channel" on that mixer was a pair of RCA sockets?
