Re: Audacity Nyquist tutorial anywhere?

You've not mentioned which version of Audacity you are using, but I'd highly recommend that you use Audacity 1.3.12 as it has a much better (and more recent) implementation of Nyquist. Audacity 1.3 will eventually become the new Audacity 2.0. The "left / right channel" part of your project...

Re: Custom "snap to" times possible?

Search this page for "snap to:" http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Feature_Requests The option "Snap to beats" has got my vote. I'd also like the related feature of the time-line displaying "bars and beats". Audacity could be a really powerful tool for working...

That means that the file will be re-compre...

Re: Static starts at second 26 when recording

The WAV file can then be uploaded to th...

Does Audacity 1.2.6 record correctly?

Re: Export data

So are you currently using the "sample-printer" plug-in? I'm currently working on an updated version of this but it's not yet complete. With the original "sample printer" plug-in you can produce an indexed list of sample values. The "index" is the sample number, countin...

Re: Another failed vocal removal

There are other more advanced tools for vocal removal, but they all have their limitations. You could have a go with "Elevayta Extra Boy" (free demo available and quite cheap to buy). Most of the other "advanced" tools are really expensive.
