You can remove the DC offset with the "Normalize" effect. You can probably brighten up the sound a little using the "Equalizer" effect. There is really no satisfactory way to fix distortion due to clipping, but the "ClipFix" effect may help a little. You really need to ...

Do you know which version of Windows? If you look in the Windows Control Panel in the "Sounds" section there should be some indication of what sort of sound card you have. The important thing is that there is both a recording and a playback device available for Audacity. See here for some ...

The version of Lame on the lame.buanzo web page is the version that you should use. Other versions are likely to cause problems.

Traktor Pro has it's own integrated recording feature. Use that to record.
You can Import the recording into Audacity for further editing and processing.
