Re: Noise and wide blue band instead of digitalizing LPs.

It is very unlikely that re-installing Audacity will make any difference. The problem is almost certainly with the USB connection. Audio over USB is much more demanding than other devices such as keyboards, printers, scanners and so on because it requires a continuous stream of data. USB is not very...

Use Audacity 1.3.12
The 1.2.6 version is now ancient and has lots of problems on modern machines.

Re: Silent finder "Nyquist did not return audio"

I'm not able to reproduce the problem.

Does this happen with all tracks or only certain ones?
Could you give a step-by-step description of what you are doing, including all settings that you are using. Show me how to reproduce the problem.

Re: Waveform analysis when importing .mogg file?

Re: metadata on wav file incomplete

Audacity holds metadata per project, not per track. If you import a track into a new project the metadata in that file should be imported, but metadata from subsequent imported files will be ignored. When you Export the project, the metadata that is held for the project will be applied to the export...

Re: Scheduling

In Audacity 1.3.12 there is "Timer Record". http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Transport_Menu
Audacity 1.3.12 is highly recommended.
