Re: Batch add silence and repeat OGG files

MSdos does cannot do arithmetic operations on decimal numbers!! I thought bash would be smarter, Sorry about that, I could have saved you some time there but I didn't know that MSDos was also restricted to integer arithmetic. I had posted a Bash general script for adding silence to the beginning of...

Re: Regular 'bleep'

How peculiar. That beep is certainly being generated by something. It is a 500 Hz square-wave for exactly 125 ms.

Are you using any trial or demo audio software on your computer? (for example "Virtual Audio Cable")

Re: Batch process mp3 files

Thanks Gale. Next time we update the LAME installer we may as well include the USAGE.txt documentation for LAME then there will be no need for this separate package. That would be a good idea. Re: Draft: HOWTO convert audio file formats

That produces variable bit-rates in the range 220 to 260 and the quality is very good. See here for more information about Lame Quality ...

Re: Improved Noise Removal ver 1.3.13 Alpha Experience?

Almost everything works in the new Noise Removal in Audacity 1.3.13 (alpha). Functionally it works. On some platforms, some...
