Re: need magic edit of random L or R drop-outs on 6hwv recor
I wrote a plug-in that can help to semi-automate patching one channel with audio from the other channel.

Repair Channel plug-in
As this has recently come up in the forum, here's an experimental plug-in for repairing one channel. It could probably do with a bit of refinement, particularly a bit more "help" included, but it is fully functional. Until I get time to do that, feel free to experiment with it and post any...

Re: Input meter's
At present there are only 2 input channels on the recording meter. There are currently a number of feature request regarding improving the Meter Toolbar, so I've added your suggestion along with my vote to this item in the Feature Requests page of the Audacity wiki. http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki...

Re: WAVE OUT MIX
It's still available in Audacity 1.3 but it may not be available in Windows 7. Availability of "Stereo Mix" (Wave Mix) in Windows 7 depends on your sound card and sound card drivers. Unfortunately for many sound cards the option for "Stereo Mix" has been disabled on Windows 7. Se...

Re: How to slow down playback of imported WAV file

I've tried slowing it down the way i've been told several times but since it only goes to -99.00% it's still faster than the original. You have posted on the end of a conversati...

Re: change export mp3 bitrate
1.3.7 is quite an old beta version now. It would be a good idea to update. The current version is 1.3.12 and contains some important bug fixes. If you build Audacity from the source code, see here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_source#recdown If you use a version from your Linux distribution...

Re: How to record "all computer sounds" with this version
" C cassette player" - I wasn't sure if you meant some special device, but you just mean "cassette player" do you? I want to record all the sounds which are currently coming from my computer. From Videos, microphones, internet radio, maybe a CD player attached to computer... Ther...
