Re: Tips for Beginners Live Recording WorkFlow?
Have been searching for Live Recording workflow suggestions, especially whether it is best to First use Noise Removal or Normalize? I've not got time to write a book on the subject, so to answer the specific question: Take care using Normalize on stereo tracks. It processes each channel independent...

In this window: http://wakarusariver.com/images/cp1.jpg Check the other tabs. In particular the "Levels" and "Enhancements" tabs. The Level must be turned up and all enhancements should normally be turned off. I'm not sure what's supposed to be in the other tabs, but have a look ...

Re: mp3 export
Does anyone know where it is safe to get this encoder? Yes, follow the links in the main Audacity web site. I would highly recommend that you upgrade to Audacity 1.3.12 before you install Lame. Audacity: http://audacityteam.org/download/ Lame: http://audacityteam.org/help/faq?s=install&i=lame-mp3

Re: heavy clipping distortion on 24-bit export
Instead of sliding 2/3 of the way down and clicking (many multiple times), we had to dig through menu layers, pretty much killing efficiency. Re: Compare 2 files to discover audio delay
I don't think there is an "easy solution" after the event. The "easy solution" before the event is to use equipment that supports time code and to synchronise all of the equipment to the same time code clock - that's what time code was invented for.
