Yes it is, but you also need appropriate software to extract the audio from the video and put it back again. Audacity can deal with the audio part, but not the video. Do you have suitable video software?

Do you mean that Audacity does not recognise the files from your Marantz, or that some other program does not recognise the files from Audacity?
You need to give a lot more detail about what you are doing and how you are doing it.

What settings do you have in Audacity "Edit menu > Preferences > Audio I/O" ?
