Not well documented is the prohibition against using filenames containing blanks. Audacity should be able to handle file names that include spaces. Audacity 1.3.12 certainly can. You should however take care with non alpha-numeric characters as they may not be valid for file names on your system. A...

Audacity 1.3.12 is far more tolerant of non-alpha-numeric characters than the old 1.2 version. File names must be valid for the operating system, for example on Windows you cant use a "" in a file name. Using only letters, numbers, hyphen and underscore is the recommended way to name any f...

I agree that it's been a long time since the last release (about a year) and we all very much look forward to the release of Audacity 2. Sometimes there can be a lot of work go into a project with little to show for it in the short term.

Sound card settings are often to be found via an icon near the Time/Date on your Desktop.
If you can't find them there, look in the Windows Control Panel.

Probably best to throw out Audacity 1.2 (it's very old) and install Audacity 1.3.

iTunes probably has some special mechanism for downloading multiple files, but I don't use iTunes. One way you could do it would be to pack all of the MP3 files into a ZIP archive. You could include a "playlist" so that the user can unzip the archive, then play the "playlist" and...
