If you're using a full size computer you need to plug into the "Line In" not the "Microphone In".

If you have each song/part of song on it's own track you can use the volume slider on the left side of the track to adjust the volume level.

Open Audacity, then press Ctrl+P
Select the 5th item in the menu on the left.
The middle drop-down selector box is for language selection.
Select the required language.
Close and restart Audacity.
