Are you using a mic plugged into the UMC22 for the latency test?

What are you recording with? (Example: Rode NT1A microphone plugged into a Behringer UM2 USB interface, connected to the laptop by USB)

You don't need to manually add the second track, just "Shift + Record" (or "Shift+ R") to start recording to a new track.

Could you post a short sample of speech (just counting up to 10 would be OK).

Is your computer a laptop?
Do you have headphones plugged into your computer?
