Re: Searching similar wave patterns
At the present time, in the run-up to Audacity 2.0, there are no new features being added. After Audacity 2.0 has been released then development of new features will resume. It may be worth you getting back to us after the release of Audacity 2.0, which we all hope will not be too long, but there is...

Re: Silent subliminal function
I downloaded some demo commercial samples and analysed them. They were silent (and I don't mean inaudible, I mean silent). A bit of searching on the Internet and it appears found that there were other people complaining about the same thing. To be fair, I should have said "some" commercial...

Re: Laming problem in 1.3 beta
I'm not aware of any current issues when using Audacity 1.3.13 (beta) and the current lame.dll, so we're looking at something a bit exceptional. Are you using Audacity 1.3.13? (Look in Audacity "Help menu > About Audacity" for the exact version number). Are you aware of any other programs ...

Re: Constant beep sound during playback
That sounds like bad electrical interference.
If your computer is a laptop, try running it from batteries and see if that improves it.

Re: Audio files don't show up in "Import Audio" dialog.
It looks to me like there could be an error in the Polish translation file.
I'll see what I can find out.
In the mean time, you should be able to import audio files by dragging and dropping them onto the main Audacity window.

Re: P L E A S E HELP ME REMOVING THIS NOISE
What version Audacity are you using? On Windows you will find that information in "Help menu > About Audacity". If the version is earlier than 1.3.13 I would highly recommend that you upgrade. Audacity 1.3.13 is the latest (and best) version and is available here: http://audacityteam.org/...

Re: Copy and Paste adding a pause
Ensure that you have selected only the portion that you want to copy.
Ensure that "Snap to" is not selected (near the bottom of the main Audacity window).

Re: Searching similar wave patterns
At present there is no such feature in Audacity, though a couple of developers have shown interest in developing such a feature, so it may be available at some time in the future (but don't hold your breath, it won't be any time soon).

Re: Tempo and artifacts
Unfortunately the "time stretching" process always produces some artefacts, and the greater the stretch the worse it sounds. In Audacity 1.3.13 there are two alternative effects that you can use. "Change Tempo" or "Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift". The latter is able t...

Re: making acapellas
"Voice Isolation" can sometimes be partially achieved, but usually it's a lot of effort for very poor (unusable) results. Some more information here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=47498&p=117209#p117209 It is generally better time spent searching Google to see ...
