Re: Audacity won't record from line in
How about using the switching box for your stereo and turntable into your regular sound card, and have your camera go directly into the video capture card?

Re: Language conf does it's own thing ,anyways. Why
You probably shouldn't be using Audacity 1.2.x as it's very old and has been abandoned for several years. You can get Audacity 1.3.13 from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ I think that it will still probably default to Dutch /Flanders, assuming that is the "system language" for your...

Re: Delay typing into a label or dragging tracks vertically

That would be one solution. Alternatively, if you've ever done any diy electronics, it would be easy to make a leve...

Re: Audacity won't record from line in
I don't know much about that capture card, but according to their website it uses a "Hybrid Capture Device driver", so I'm presuming that the same driver captures both video and audio. If these are multiplexed as one data stream, then Audacity (being audio only) would not know what to do w...

Re: Is there a preferred order of operations?
It would have been really easy to fix that if the two voices were on different tracks, but I'm guessing they are both recorded on the same audio track? If you could post a short section (just 3 or 4 seconds, but preferably in FLAC format) then we can have a listen to see what can be done. If it's no...
