Nice one DVDdoug. I've just been testing that and it's very impressive on the supplied examples. It didn't cope with heavily distorted analogue clipping, but then nothing does.

Yes you could, but you will probably get best quality if you choose one that has SPDIF input.

Turn off "Software Playthrough" (near bottom of the Transport menu).
Select the UCA 202 as the playback device and plug your headphones in there rather than into the computer sound card.

Also, are you aware that Audacity Projects have both the AUP file AND data files? If the data files are missing there will be no sound. See here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Audacity_Projects

Whichever reverb effect you use, keep a clean unprocessed version of the recording, preferably exported as a 32-bit WAV file. Note that for many sound cards on Windows 7 it is not possible to record from "Stereo Mix" and some workaround must be used. There's nothing we can do about that - if either Microsoft or the hardware manufacturers decide to remove the stereo mix feature, then there's nothing that we can do...
