If you connect your Tascam to the computer and allow Windows time to find it, Windows will probably set it as the default device for recording and playback. Could you describe in more detail.
You are trying to mix 2 sounds from where? From two WAV files? From two USB microphones?
Where do you want the mixed audio to go to? To another file? To your speakers?
