One of the classic ways to mic up a drum kit for an "acoustic" sound is to use just three mics. A pair of overheads (as a spaced pair) and one on the kick drum. Experiment with the positioning of the overheads and have them point toward the snare so as to get a little extra from the snare....

And what are you wanting to record from?
If you want to record using the built in microphone, select "microphone realtek HD"
If you want to record sounds that are playing on your computer, select "stereo mix".

Don't record - download. There are several plug-ins available for Firefox that enable videos to be downloaded from YouTube. If you have Audacity 1.3.13 and FFMpeg installed, Audacity can extract the audio from YouTube videos by importing the video file. http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.php?title...
