If you convert the track to mono it may sound marginally better.
If you use Audacity 1.3.13 you can do that easily with "Tracks menu > Stereo track to Mono"

If you mean the "click" that occurs on every beat, then I don't think it's possible to get rid of that. The problem there is that the microphone has been seriously overloaded by every time there is a beat - basically it could not cope with the very high sound pressure of the bass frequenci...
