Re: Latency Compensation has no impact at all.

It's clearly off, but I don't see any arrows. Did I miss something? Arrows don't happen any more. They were more trouble than they were worth as they greatly complicated exporting multiple tracks. They also created problems and inconsistencies for append record and pre-roll. What "should"...

I can't use the Loudness normalization on my system, so I was unable to try that.
The plug-in that I linked to does a very similar thing to the "Loudness Normalization" effect.

For 65536 there are always 32767 samples
No, for a "Size" of 65536 there are 65536 samples in each block, and that gives 32768 frequency bins (32767 frequency bands between 0 Hz and half the sample rate).

Re: How do I change the x and y axis scale for Plot Spectrum?

the 65536 is the amplitude scale. No, it's the "window size". Short version: The window size determines the number of frequency bands between DC and half the sample rate. The larger the window size, the more frequency bands, hence greater frequency precision. Longer version: The window si...

Re: What are the extra labels when Exporting Labels

Actually you can turn it off the ability to make spectral selections - and that would avoid spectral labelling ... You're right waxcylinder, I should have been more precise. Yes you can turn off spectral selections, but even then there may be an invisible frequency selection, and any labels that al...

Re: Alsa Problem -No Mics

Reboot your computer then run the "Audio device info" (probably in the "Help" menu) and save the output to a convenient location. Attach the saved file to your reply (see: https://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=64936) That will tell us how Audacity sees the sound...
