Absolutely, but it gives an idea about how good 32-bit float is that you can drop the volume down by 80 dB and then boost it back almost perfectly.

Read the page linked in my last post. You'll get nowhere 'till you do that.
The file is not an Acrobat file, it's the Audacity project file (it has an .AUP etension, not a .PDF extension)

Only one can be enabled. Mint is based on Ubuntu, so what applies there, applies to Mint as well. Yes Mint is based on Ubuntu, but from my (very limited) experience with Mint it appears to make a lot more configuration decisions behind the scenes (which is great if it does what you want it to do). ...
