Re: Remove bass from drumtrack
You could try "Elevayta Extra Boy" (free demo version available http://www.elevayta.net/product13.htm ) but trying to "un-mix" a track is rarely completely successful.

Re: Problems recording a second track (multi-tracking)
Topic split to a new thread.
You'll need to give more information about your recording set-up.
What sort of microphone?
What sort of sound card?
What sample rate are you recording at?
What steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the problem?
Any other information that may be relevant?

Re: I cannot record? What am i doing wrong?
The good news is that Audacity is working because it's recording something. The bad news is that audio that it is receiving is garbage. i attempted to use the audacity recommended for windows XP, The recommended version for both XP and Win 7 is Audacity 1.3.13 Unicode. So let's recap: You have your ...

Re: Win xp delta 1010 8 channel rack
I could not find the file audacity.cfg. Check your version of Audacity (Help menu > About Audacity) You should have Audacity 1.3.13 (Unicode) If not, you can get the correct version from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/beta_windows If you have run any version of Audacity 1.3.x just once with...

Re: Inaccuracy in Click Track
I had a casual test. It seems much more accurate in length generation than the old Click Track. I did not find any cases that were too long, but some were one or two samples too short unless 8000 Hz was used. There was also an error with the "tick" setting. This uses the "drip" ...

Re: Beat Per Minute labels
So should we add the above GPL comment to those two crossfades? As both of these are basically just one line of code I'd guess that when written it wasn't considered worth the space. I suppose that strictly speaking they should carry a GPL comment. Even if we replace these effects I'd expect that w...

Inaccuracy in Click Track
It was noticed by Frankelstner that for some settings, Click Track produced a cumulative error on the bar length. (original post here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=60534#p155690 ) As a fix, he proposed changing lines 303 - 304 from: (dotimes (x (- measures 1)) (setf result ...

Re: Finding Sections of Audio
If you zoom out so that you can see the entire waveform, repeated sections are often visible by looking at the shape of the waveform.
