I have never seen a microphone that requires both a USB and a mini-jack connection at the same time. Either that is not true, or you have a microphone that is extremely unusual, in which case instructions really should have been included. Let's see what the seller says.

Effects are only available when Audacity is stopped (not in Play, Record or Pause).
