Re: Gradual rather than instant drop in pitch?

The effect you need is called "Sliding Time Scale / Pitch Shift..."

Instructions for using it are here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Effe ... itch_Shift...

Re: Bug: Track number issue on EXPORT MULTIPLE

The automatic numbering in Export Multiple is designed to start at "01". It has not been designed to take any notice of the track names, file names, label names or anything else - it just does a simple count up from 01. If you are using Export Multiple based on labels, then include the num...

Re: newbie needs step-by-step conversion steps

WMA can be a tricky format - there's more than one version of WMA. Audacity 1.3.13 with FFMpeg installed can convert some WMA files, but only if they are the right type of WMA format. Re: feedback wanted on hi-fi iPod docks

I'm looking to do a similar thing myself. In my case I'm wanting to replace a wall full of CDs/tapes/records with a network player. I've recently purchased an LG N2A2 NAS drive (2 x 1 TB network attached storage as 1 TB RAID 1 drive). I'm very pleased with it and it has a lot of built in features in...

Re: Distortion after adjusting pitch from 440Hz to 432Hz

'Adjusting pitch' function I assume that you mean the "Change Pitch" effect? I'll also assume that you're using Audacity 1.3.13. If not I'd recommend that you update: http://audacityteam.org/download/ There's a few things that can cause the sound quality to deteriorate, so I'll give a ste...

Re: Noise Gate Question

Please upload it in either WAV or FLAC format (lossless formats).
The forum only allows short files to be uploaded, but we only need a couple of seconds.

Re: New plug-in effect - PopMute

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to show me there.
Is it that; at certain zoom levels the waveform can be seen to change slightly to the right of the selected region that has been processed?

Re: IMA WAV ADCP from Casio Exilim EX-V7

Yes. I think this proves it: Thanks DynV. That "proves" that you have Audacity 1.3.13 and FFMpeg 0.6.2 installed, but it doesn't quite prove that you are using those versions. The proof for the Audacity version is to look in the Audacity Help menu > "About Audacity". The proof f...
