Any particular type of bass sound? Are you wanting to generate a bass sound, or is the bass sound already in your recording?

This is the Audacity 1.2.x part of the forum. Are you really using Audacity 1.2.x? (look in "Help > About Audacity" for the version number).

You have posted in the Audacity 1.2.x part of the forum. Are you really using Audacity 1.2.x?
If you are using the standard Ubuntu repository version of Audacity and are using the default Unity desktop, then the Audacity icon should be in the Unity dock when Audacity is running.
