Re: Updated De-Clicker and new De-esser for speech

The lack of adequate documentation is one of the main reasons why this plug-in remains "unofficial" and not on the Audacity wiki.

Re: Host says "no midi interface" not CoreMIDI?

Try setting it to "2 channel 16-bit 44.1 kHz".
Keep Audacity at 2 channel 32-bit float 44100.

Re: Speeding up then slowing speed / pitch destroying audio

Here is what happens when I speed up by 1.30x and decrease pitch by -23.077 to match. This works fine. Why not just use "Change Tempo"? https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/change_tempo.html To undo the last change in Audacity, use "Command + Z" This is what happens when I decrea...

Re: Host says "no midi interface" not CoreMIDI?

There have been some reports that if you start Audacity as root user ("once only" - applications should not normally be run as root), and then click the recording meter (where it says "Click to Start Monitoring"), then you should be prompted to give Audacity access to the microph...

Re: Host says "no midi interface" not CoreMIDI?

If I recall correctly, there's a way to force the computer to ask for microphone permissions, though I don't recall the exact co...

That's probably a Snap or Flatpak version. We've had multiple reports of problems with those. Go back to the deb version (Audacity 2.3.3-1build1)

Re: Audacity Export Doesn't Line Up With Original File

What is the exact version number of Audacity? (look in: "Help menu > About Audacity")

Re: Host says "no midi interface" not CoreMIDI?

You could try a full reset of Audacity. This resets parts that other resets don't reach. Exit Audacity. Go to the folder ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/ (where "~/" means your home folder) and delete the three files: audacity.cfg pluginregistry.cfg pluginsettings.cfg On next launch...
