I believe the spectrum graph averages out the reading, whereas the enhanced correlation graph plots it in time and gives average pitch readings? Taking a deep breath because this is rather complicated.... The "Spectrum" graph splits the audio frequency range into many small frequency band...

If you were able to record from the Quad-Capture with a standard release version of Audacity you must have used Windows drivers (WDM) for the Quad-Capture as Audacity has never been shipped with ASIO support. Audacity quite happily made some recordings through the Quad-Capture before this problem oc...

Audacity cannot convert audio to MIDI.
Audacity is able to Import and display MIDI and has limited ability to edit MIDI tracks but cannot yet play MIDI. The Export MIDI option is only for MIDI tracks.
It is planned to extend Audacity's MIDI support in the future.

If you're using Win 7 64, check to see if you have an NVIDIA USB EHCI chipset.
