Re: Can you upgrade the roadmap?
I'm looking forward to your improved fade effects :) Thanks waxy. I'm looking forward to having the time to complete it :) I'm actually hoping that 2.0 can get out the door soonest (which will mean minimal changes) - so then the devs can start adding exciting new stuff to the next generation of Bet...

Re: Determining peak amplitude?
Select the track then "Effect Menu > Amplify" but do not apply the effect. The Amplify effect will show how much amplification is required to bring it up to 0 dB, so, for example, if it says "Amplification (dB): 1.9" then you know the peak amplitude is -1.9 dB.

Re: AUDACITY NOT RECORDING FROM SOUNDCARD
Have you looked in the Windows Control Panel to see if Stereo Mix is available and enabled? (see here for details: http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... es#vistacp )

Re: LP to mp3 problem
Could you give a bit more detail about that. Where are those setting? Are those "options" or are they "the selected options"? I'm not sure what you are referring to.kelloggdental wrote:My settings are Windows, speaker-Real Tech, Microphone arrary, 2 Stereo.
