Re: How Can I Rip / Record only Audio on a DVD -RW Video
I imported them and can see all the files one under the other. I put the cursor on the top one. And then pressed play. Sounded like all the tracks were playing at the same time? But sounded like music not digital rubbish. OK so they are imported into Audacity but where to what does one do next? Swi...

Re: How Can I Rip / Record only Audio on a DVD -RW Video
On a DVD you will see a number of file types. Usually some .IFO .BUP and .VOB files. The only ones that you are interested in are the .VOB files. Ignore the other files. You can copy the VOB files anywhere on your computer that you have read/write access. A good place would be to create a new folder...

Re: Recording Legth Extended In Editing Software
My guess is that Audacity, iTunes, and WMP are right.
Does Corel VideoStudio X3 require that you use MP3 format, or can you use WAV format?

Re: How Can I Rip / Record only Audio on a DVD -RW Video
For home made DVD it is usually possible to extract the audio data with Audacity 1.3.14 if you also have FFMpeg installed (see here: http://manual.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=FAQ:Installation_and_Plug-Ins#installffmpeg ). Once you have Audacity 1.3.14 and FFMpeg, Open the DVD on your computer i...

Re: aup file will not open! help!
When I go into properties its listed as: Audacity 1.3 Beta2 (Unicode) Windows is just assuming that from the file extension (the ".aup" at the end of the file name). What is the exact version of Audacity you are using? Please look in "Help > About Audacity" and copy the full and...
