Audacity cannot play back through two sound cards at the same time. If you are able to configure one of your sound cards so that you can hear the singing and the bass, then you could use a "headphone splitter" (for example: http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-F8V234-WHT-APL-Headphone-Splitter/dp/...

As a test, try using some different effect - something with a really strong and noticeable impact, for example the "Fade-In" effect. Are you able to apply that to one track only and not the other?

Where things like "loudness" and "dynamics" are concerned, the most accurate tools for measurement are ears.

Audacity 1.2 does not support Autotune. And I autotune it with autotune evo est and then I add my instrumental. So you are using Autotune before you add the instrumental and you don't use Autotune after you have added the instrumental? If that is the case then I don't see how Autotune can possibly a...
