Re: Carbonite Back up problem

Re: expand on Norm's new track name in display

It builds OK and the font selection works fine, but looking at your patch, we appear to have some of the colour chooser code, but no colour options. Is this version supposed to include the color picker thing?

Re: Lame file

You've posted in the Audacity 1.2 part of the forum, but Audacity 1.2 is not recommended for Windows 7. The correct version for Windows 7 is Audacity 1.3.14 which you can get here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ After installing Audacity 1.3.14, instructions for installing LAME are here: http://m...

If your computer does not recognise the drive you'll need to contact the manufacture or supplier for support.

Re: What will require to interview using Audacity?

Skype is likely to be easier and better quality than using a telephone (unless you have a huge budget for professional hardware). The better solution would be to be in the same room as the interviewee and record them directly, but I assume there are practical problems with doing that. Another possib...

Re: Carbonite Back up problem

Something easy that you could try. Create a new folder and "Copy" (not "move") the MP3s into that folder, then try and back up that folder.

Re: Importing ape/wav problem

Audacity 1.2.6. You posted in the Audacity 1.3.x part of the forum, but that's good because you will almost certainly need to upgrade to Audacity 1.3.14 which you can get from here: http://audacityteam.org/download/ As far as I'm aware Audacity does not support APE files, so you will need to decode...
