Rather than cutting and pasting you may find it quicker to just slide them with the "Time Shift" tool (double headed arrow button).
They don't need to be all in the same track, they can be like this:

Re: How to convert tempo to delay rate.
I see. That's the same as converting "Beats Per Minute" (BPM) to "Beat Length". "Beat Length (seconds) = 60 / "BPM" "BPM" = 60 / "Beat Length (seconds)" Example: If Beat length = 0.5 seconds then BPM = 60 / 0.5 = 120 If BPM = 120 then Beat Lengt...

Re: section dropped from recording

Re: Shuffling plug-in?
There is no plug-in specifically for Mid/Side processing in that way, but it can be done quite easily. There is a Mid/Side encoder/decoder plug-in here: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=62046&p=168772#p168772 To equalize the mid / side channels separately, split the stereo ...

Is that the only sound that is recorded, or is that the background noise of your recording?

Re: How to convert tempo to delay rate.
You'll need to give more description. What tempo? What delay rate? What are you wanting to do?
