Re: HOW TO IMPORT KARAOKE FILES TO AUDACITY.
Have a look in the Taranaa.comsubscriptionTracks folder. Are there only .trk files in there or are there also some other files?

Re: HOW TO IMPORT KARAOKE FILES TO AUDACITY.
I presume that: 1) The "Taranaa Karaoke Player" is only a player and does not record. 2) You want to use Audacity to record yourself (or others) singing along to the karaoke tracks. 3) The Taranaa Karaoke Player will play the .trk files correctly. 4) Apart from being unable to record you a...

Re: HOW TO IMPORT KARAOKE FILES TO AUDACITY.
Please don't write all in upper case (capitals). .trk is not a standard audio format. It is designed to only be used in the Taranaa Karaoke Player. It is possible that the .trk files are actually in a common format with a non-standard file extension, or they may be a special format that only works i...

Re: Unable to hear music or record through USB input.
It may not be possible for Audacity to record from the Encore ENMVG-2. It all depends on whether Windows treats the device as an audio device + a video device, or just as a video device (with "embedded" audio). With the device connected to the computer, go to System Tray > Recording Device...

Re: Audacity cannot find correct path to file.
According to his post, philj34 has already associated WAV and MP3 with Audacity. Audacity opens when you double-click the WAV or MP3, so I am not sure CCleaner will help. I was able to reproduce the problem on Windows XP by trying to set WAV files to open with Audacity 2.0 while there was an existi...

Re: Cannot export mp3 MONO?
The mp3 options channel mode is misleading. Even though it says "stereo", it will (can) eventually export a mono file. ... I wish the UI is more user friendly, but I'm thankful the functionality is there. We're always interested in ways to make the user interface more intuitive. The "...

Re: Duplicate tracks from mono
However - for whatever reason - I still find twin track mono recordings sound significantly better than one track If they really do sound different then there is something wrong with your system. They should sound identical because the data is identical. If that's not clear, here's a simple example...
