Re: Please Help me!! Error :not well-formed (invalid token)
I am with the same problem of "Invalid toke - line 5"!! Please attach the .aup file to your reply. (Use the "Upload attachment" feature below the compose message box). Don't worry if the recording is confidential, no one can "play" the .AUP file unless they also have t...

Re: How do I get English language version?
I agree, one should be able to choose the language during the installation process. Audacity used to do that, but people kept asking why Audacity could not set the language automatically, which just goes to prove that you can't please all of the people all of the time. I think that it's a fair bet ...

Re: Records ok then WHITE NOISE
Are you going through a USB Hub? USB audio hates that. Good point - I forgot that one. I was out of the room (and then I heard the dreaded White Noise) - so the cable was stable as no-one else was in the room. There's rarely a half way point with USB audio - it tends to either work or fail horribly...

Re: How to Convert a .wav file to .mp3?
Question: Can we do the conversion to .mp3 in Audacity? And if yes, HOW? Yes you can. 1) Install Audacity 2.0 ( http://audacityteam.org/download/ ) 2) Install LAME (follow these instructions carefully: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ:Installation_and_Plug-Ins#How_do_I_download_and_install_th...

Re: Records ok then WHITE NOISE
sometimes just goes to white noise (filling the whole of the input 'band' in Audacity). That is exactly what happens if the USB loses synchronisation. Just a tiny disruption to the USB audio stream can cause the data to turn to (horrible and very loud) noise. Check your USB cable is connected secur...

Re: Cannot export mp3 MONO?
How about forcing the user to see the mp3 options dialog everytime he exports an mp3? Thanks for taking the time to make a constructive suggestion, but I think that doing that would be widely unpopular. Many (probably most) users want the same export settings every time that they export. Adding jus...
