Try setting Audacity to 48 kHz so that it matches the Windows setting.
If that does not work, try setting both to 44100.

If the internet feed had been interrupted, I think Audacity would have continued recording, even though there was no sound. I'm not sure what the case is on Windows, but on Linux (which I use), if the audio stream stops then so does Audacity. The only other thing that comes to mind is to check that...

I know how to do this on a Mac, but not in Windows. Windows does not have an "Aggregate Device" feature. Audacity can only record from one device at a time, so for Windows that means only one USB microphone at a time. To record two microphones at the same time (on Windows) you will need t...

Not automatically, but if you select the recorded words you can look at the numbers in the Selection Toolbar:
