Do you have a USB microphone connected?
If not, that option is probably the turntable. (it's probably the same USB chip as is used in USB microphones).

I'm regretting not selecting the option to use it as the default file manager during the setup process. It is probably best to NOT set it as the default file manager. There are some situations where it is a lot more convenient to use the standard file manager, and I guess that is why that option is...

There's no need to record the microphone as a stereo track unless you want to apply a stereo effect to the track (such as stereo reverb, ping-pong delay, stereo chorus....). I think that's the only reason why you may need to use a stereo track for a mono source (such as a normal microphone). Audacit...

The Creative X-FI extreme gamer has a very good reputation as a gaming sound card, but a very poor reputation for music work (due mostly to buggy drivers).

Horizontal space at the end of the track can be useful in several situations. For example if you have imported a number of songs from different files and you want to line them up end to end then you will need to be able to slide one track beyond the end of the previous track.

You may have a corrupt download.
