Check the Recording Input setting in the Device Toolbar.
Check in the Windows Mixer recording settings that the input that you wish to use is enabled, not muted and the recording level is turned up.

When you install a plug-in you need to close all instances of Audacity, then restart Audacity.

Rename both the file and the folder to what they originally were.
