Do they play correctly in your usual media player program?

Re: Latency Error==I can no longer overdub

Did you ever get this problem solved? I'm having what seems to be the same problem and nothing fixes it. If I change my output to the MobilePre I get a weird feedback/echo effect (which I'm guessing is the same as what happened to the OP) and if I change it to, say, front (which is my laptop's head...

Re: how to setup ?

The recommendation from the Serato forum is to either upgrade to a version of Serato that supports saving your mix, or record onto a separate machine (either a second computer or other recording device such as a mini-disk or cassette recorder).

Re: Clipping/ Distortion

Re: Cannot record using Audactity 2.0.0

For CD you would probably be better to use a CD ripping program such as CDex to digitally extract the audio. This will be better quality and faster than recording with Audacity. http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ For recording sounds playing on your computer (such as streaming media) see these links: ht...

Re: Few Audacity questions

If no VST effects have been detected by Audacity then scanning will probably occur, but it should be reasonably quick. The exact amount of time taken depends on several factors including what .dll files Audacity finds in the search path. The search path includes: The Audacity Plug-ins folder. The pa...

Re: Few Audacity questions

On Windows, both LADSPA and VST plug-ins are .dll files. When Audacity scans it is looking to see if there are any VST plug-ins, so it checks all of the .dll files that it finds in the plug-in search path. If Audacity finds one or more VST plug-ins it will try to enable it and will not search again ...

Re: Yet another command line request --> Sound finder.

Whit I have: I presume that's a typo ;) That command looks fine. Is there a significant difference between setf and setq? "setf" is a more powerful command than "setq" though often they are interchangeable. "setq" stands for "set quoted" http://www.audacity-f...
