Re: Making my Song Edits sound better in Audacity 2
You don't need to open the file. Just put it into the Audacity plug-ins folder and restart Audacity. As a bit of an aside - Windows has a very primitive method for identifying file types - it just looks at the file extension and assumes the file type from that. Re: copy-paste: Bug Report OSX
I hame having a similar problem on Windows. Basically, I selected all and said Copy. I then pasted it below, but by comparing it to the original track directly above it, I noticed the time-shifting was way off. I had previously time-shifted parts of the track into the area to the left of 0:00, but ...

Re: Exporting a copy of waveforms to ppt
Topic moved to the Windows forum.
PowerPoint can't do that.
You need to export from Audacity as a file (for example a WAV file), then insert the file into your PowerPoint presentation.

Re: Analogue Synth Tool
There's a problem with your "string-to-integer" function. I've not got time to look at it right now, but it hangs if you enter an invalid string such as a letter or a decimal for the number of notes. Actually very simple. It's the "return" function that is causing the problem. h...

Re: Making my Song Edits sound better in Audacity 2
hopefully maybe soon, will be added to Audacity, so can add multiple files for editing in Audacity like some other editors without being a memory hog etc. It's not a question of "memory hog". I don't think that I understand what you are wanting to do. Why do you want to open multiple file...

Regarding that plugin, my WIN XP stil cannot open or read or download for some reason, even on your direct link Well it's been downloaded 3 times since I uploaded it a few hours ago, which I assume must be your attempts to download it. What is happening when you try to download it? Have you tried r...

Re: Analogue Synth Tool
Looks good.
Interesting method to create the pulse waveform. I guess you've been looking in nyquist.lsp (because AFAIK the "compare" function is not documented, or have I just missed it somewhere?)

Re: Error message
The "output device" is the "sound card" or other device that your computer uses to make sounds. How do you normally play sounds on your computer? Internal speakers in a laptop? USB speakers? Headphones plugged into a headphone socket on the front of your computer? Please give as ...
