If it's a stereo recording I'd guess that the project size is around 2.5 GB which is pretty big for sending to someone over the Internet. Pretty well everything is documented, though we appreciate that it's difficult to look something up if you don't know what it's called - kind of a "Catch 22".

Producing the headerless raw files would, I think, be a case of trial and error, and I'm not sure if Audacity can do it, even with "Custom FFmpeg Export". You can do that by selecting "Other uncompressed files > RAW > uLaw", however I'd recommend trying the "WAV (Microsoft)...

Ensure that you have only one track selected (highlighted) when you apply the effect. Effects are applied to the highlighted selection.
