Re: usb guitar cable vs basic unrecommended cable - latency
OK, I understand your problem. Unfortunately I doubt that you'll be able to solve the problem using Audacity. Audacity uses the standard Windows drivers for sound. When using that type of USB cable there is no direct, wired route from the recording device (the USB guitar cable) to the output device ...

Re: Professional Help Needed Please Help
As Koz says, your computer is critically low on local disk space. You need to do something about that immediately, but if you have saved the Audacity project, do not delete the project _data folder . The project _data folder contains all of the audio data for the Audacity Project. As soon as you hav...

Re: usb guitar cable vs basic unrecommended cable - latency
Is it one of these:

or this:

If so, plug your headphones into the headphone socket of the Guitar Link. You should then get virtually zero latency.

It's possibly just the size of the project that is making it go so slow on your computer. Once you have split it up into more manageable size chunks it will hopef...

No problem. Have a quick read through this page: http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/Audio_Tracks
Pretty well everything is documented, though we appreciate that it's difficult to look something up if you don't know what it's called - kind of a "Catch 22".

Re: Need help creating file with this output format
Producing the headerless raw files would, I think, be a case of trial and error, and I'm not sure if Audacity can do it, even with "Custom FFmpeg Export". You can do that by selecting "Other uncompressed files > RAW > uLaw", however I'd recommend trying the "WAV (Microsoft)...

Re: Change Pitch on 2 different tracks....??
Ensure that you have only one track selected (highlighted) when you apply the effect. Effects are applied to the highlighted selection.
