Re: Redistributing Audacity

Do all of your readers use Windows? For Windows XP SP2 and later, all that you need to include is the "Recommended Download" It is marked as: Audacity 2.0 installer (.exe file, 19.8 MB, including help files) for Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 here: http://audacityteam.org/download/windows This do...

Re: ubuntu 11.10: toolbars and other gui items are missing

I tried launching with LC_MESSAGES=en_US.UTF-8 audacity and with LANG=en_US.UTF-8 audacity . Also tried changing the language to English. Tri...

Re: Date time formatting possible? (For label plugin)

I think this will save you a bit of time (attached). Feel free to customise it to your needs. If you have any questions or comments regarding the code please say. It's called "Time Labels..." and when installed it will appear in the Analyze menu. Note that for Analyze type effects there mu...

Re: Redistributing Audacity

The best way would be to link to the Audacity download page: http://audacityteam.org/download/ that way the latest version of Audacity, including any important bug fixes, will always be available to your readers. It will also ensure that you don't inadvertently breach copyright issues. If you have s...
