You probably have missing dependencies. "Time stretching" is always an approximation. In effect the process requires "synthesizing" the additional audio based on the original audio. It's amazing that it works as well as it does. I suggested applying the effect to a duplicate so that the processed audio can then be twea...

For the big noises that are on one channel only you could copy audio from the other channel and paste it over the damaged channel. Have a look at "Plot Spectrum" (Analyze menu) and compare the two files. You could use the Equalization effect (Effect menu) to reduce that large peak, cut the...
