Re: Turntable Warping (v3)
My main concern with this at the moment is that the version on the wiki is quite badly broken so the first thing is to fix it. I can look at enhancements later, but that's not such a high priority.

Re: Turntable Warping (v3)
The requirement to set the "Change Time" (what does that mean?) to 100 in the case of speeding up is weird to me but I think I understand. It is the "time" (in percent through the selection) that the "change" takes place, David's documentation does not help much with t...

Re: (Maybe no so daft) question: set record volume level?
At the moment you don't have any input enabled. The sliders that have "-------" at the bottom are the inputs. To enable one use the right/left cursor keys to move focus to one of those slider, then press the spacebar and you should see it "light up" (probably the word "captu...

Are they the only capture options?XEyedBear wrote:Outside Audacity I have set record volume anywhere from 0 to 100, on the channels labelled 'DAC' and 'DAC1' under the Capture Tab (F4) in alsamixer without any detectable difference in the recorded level.
Could you post a screen shot of that.

You need to "select" the part that you want to delete.

Re: Take vocals out of a track
Note that vocal removal only sometimes works - often it doesn't (depending on how it has been recorded).

Re: Cannot export Audacity file to other file formats
Audacity does not "Save" audio files, it saves "Audacity Projects". To create a normal audio file you must "Export". See here for details: http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/h ... jects.html

Turntable Warping (v3)
This is a rewrite/bug fix of David Sky's Turntable Warping (mono/stereo) V2 plug-in http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Nyquist_Effect_Plug-ins#Turntable_Warping_MS If this version is free of typos and any serious bugs I'd like to replace David's original version as soon as possible. The most obvious ...

Re: SOFTWARE OFF
Thanks, I have a better idea of what you are trying to do, but I'm still a bit confused by these parts: I set the recording time on site to determine specific time duration (bottom of the Audacity screen) Do you mean that you are using Timer Record? http://manual.audacityteam.org/manual/help/manual/...
