I got ErrorCode 9986, but it did not really tell me what that meant.

1. Does it say if the error is in the Recording device or Playback device?

2. What audio devices are you using?

3. What settings do you have in the Device Toolbar?

But when I export them in MP3 format into my WIndow 10 computer it always show up as a big file without detail lists of songs. Any suggestions? Add a "label" to mark the start of each song, then "Export Multiple". (See: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/splitting_a_recording_i...

Steve, that link takes me to the same Ramp Panning entry I mentioned earlier. Look at its Download link. It doesn't work.

I'm curious if his computer just gets bogged down running Audacity and Skype, causing the recording to be... longer than reality? Higher pitched? Garbled? Normal?

My guess - Person #4 has "Sound Activated Recording" enabled, causing the recording to pause during quiet periods.
